Zhongshan N. Rd., Sec. 7
This stretch of road in northern Taipei is lined with a number of specialty shops, restaurants,clothing boutiques and second hand stores, with a heavy emphasis on Americanstyle items.

Tianmu W. Rd. & Tianmu N. Rd.
This is shopping central as far as Tianmu is concerned.The expat influence in this northern Taipei neighborhood is evident in the internationally geared shops, restaurants and supermarkets.

Pacific SOGO Department Store
Conveniently located next to an MRT station, SOGO is a popular place for shopping. The huge cuckoo clock in front of the store has also made the store a popular magnet for kids.

Breeze Center

Taipei 101 Mall
Located at the base of the Taipei's newest landmark building, this mall has plenty of upscale boutiques and an excellent bookstore.

Hakka Culture in Neiwan & Beipu

Neiwan and Beipu are home to large Hakka communities, the cultural influence of which can be seen in the local architecture and cuisine. Neiwan Train Station This station welcomes visitors with rustic charm and scenic surroundings. The building is colorfully adorned with illustrations by a well-known local cartoonist. The old part of town is located just across the street. From Taipei Main Station take the train to Hsinchu and then take the Neiwan Branch Line to Neiwan.
